What to Know about Irontite Ceramic Motor Seal

The Details

Coats the Engine Cooling System and prevents the formation of rust and salt water corrosion. Stops oxidation of all metal in the cooling system by forming a very thin coating throughout the system. This "fills in" the pours of the metal and fractures causing a very smooth surface. The smooth surface improves coolant flow which in turn improve cooling action. Better cooling can be as much as 15% reduction in operating temperature of the vehicle. This enhanced heat dissipation provides added power.

Ceramic Motor Seal is very good at filling in every little nook and cranny to stop leaks virtually anywhere inside the cooling system. This sealing action can also be used to help seal around Diesel Engine Fuel Injector Sleeves by using it during the replacement injector sleeve installations. All kinds of different gasket leaks can be sealed as well. The process lays out a thin coating throughout the cooling system. After treatment the system is left open to the air to cure creating a hard shell that improves flow and heat transfer away from engine components.

The Ceramic Motor Seal was originally created for the Engine Rebuilding Market. There was a need to have a way of creating a water tight seal and filler for porus metal after an engine block and head had been rebuilt. Ceramic Motor Seal was specifically engineered to do this and do it well. After it's creation and finding how well it did the job our customers began expanding the products use. They discovered that when used in high performance racing engines they were able to get improved cooling conditions. They even discovered that it can be used during a race to help seal up gasket leaks that were impeeding performance during the race.
